A bluetooth enabled application for university laundry
Concept
Bubbles is a proposed idea for a laundry app for college students. Usually, because of their hectic schedules, college students often don't find the time to devote a dedicated hour or two for laundry. Therefore, the app has an easy connection with the laundry machines where the student only has to load the clothes and detergent. The app acts as a virtual controller for the machine which counts down to the completed laundry as well.
USER VIEWS
Some major observations that were made during researching for the app are :
Generally, younger students had a more enthusiastic attitude towards doing laundry and did not see it as a chore.
The frequency of using any kind of washing service was more for girls than boys, on an average.
Most students did their laundry between once a week to once in 2 weeks
Using machines in hostel blocks was the most common way of laundry for the surveyed students.
